I see a lot of myself in C Ronaldo

"I have a lot of repect for Cristiano for what he has achieved. I see a lot of myself in him. He's been at the very top for 10 years, just like Messi. We all want to be like them. Real Madrid is much more than just Ronaldo. There are many great players there," the Samba star explained.

The 25-year-old went on to discuss the upcoming Champions League clash with Zinedine Zidane's side, saying: "The important thing for us is to qualify for the quarter-finals, not that I be the best in the world. The main objective for us is to win Ligue 1, the Cup and the Champions League, which is the most important for us. Individual awards will come later. This game is like a final, it's just a shame that it has come so early in the competition."

Neymar tactfully dodged questions about Real Madrid's reported interest in him. "I've already talked about that, there will always be speculation," the former Barca man told reporters, pouring cold water on reports of a move to the Spanish capital.

Similarly, Neymar also rubbished suggestions that he regrets signing for PSG. "I'm calm and happy with my team-mates, with my performances and with the goals that I'm scoring. I came here for this, to make history and to find the best version of myself. There will always be rumours," he concluded.
